VATP Summit June 2023 Preview - Enemies: Seen and Unseen

The Virginia Tea Party always tries to present members with engaging and relevant summits twice a year. Our next summit is June 10th at the Sheraton Airport Hotel (same as last time), 5501 Eubank Rd., Sandston, VA 23150, 804-226-6400 with the same low price of $40, which includes a box lunch.

As we all know, America is currently facing many enemies, some like China, are readily apparent but others are often hidden from us. In keeping with this idea, we developed our June summit as the Enemies: Seen and Unseen.

We begin our summit with a presentation by Congressman Bob Good, followed by a a Q&A.

The seen enemy of China will be presented to us by Commander John Hooper, US Coast Guard retired who is an expert on China. He will share with us information on how China is a threat to our homeland. In view of the recent “weather” balloon, this will be a very interesting presentation.

Now who are the enemies that are unseen, lurking behind facades of government? China Joe, of course readily comes to mind!! However, there are others who pretend to be patriots but are secretly working against the best interests of our Congress and our statehouses. To address this we have Congressman Bob Good who held up the appointment of Speaker McCarthy until certain agreements were made.

In our own statehouse in Richmond there are many others who hide behind a cloak of conservatism, but are really “woke” leftists, unseen enemies. To address this problem, we have two speakers from Americans For Prosperity, C. J. Sailor, Director of AFP for Virginia and Matt Davison, Assistant Director of AFP. They have spent many months examining all the General Assembly races and the candidates for the November election and will give us their assessment along with suggestions for how we as Tea Party folks can make sure we elect the guys in “white hats” to the GA in November.

This summit is an eye opener for all of us and we're glad to see you there!!
