Are Technologically Advanced Pre-Human Civilisations Still With Us Today?

On #StarTrek #Voyager, the #Voth were a technologically advanced #ancientEarth species of #reptilians, descended from dinosaurs. In the series, they left earth millions of years ago once they became capable of intergalactic space travel.

I’m always fascinated by what lurks in front of our eyes that we may be unable to sense or see due to the limitations of our senses. That said, our perceptions are also limited due to the arrogance and wilful ignorance of some of humanities greatest minds. These kinds have programmed the rest of us to reject anything that falls outside of their construct and perception of what they think reality should be.

I often hear account of “shadow beings” that some humans are able to see. What if these beings aren’t figments of the perceivers imagination? What if these beings are actually there? A species of non-biological intelligence that #raykurzweil posits humanity will evolve into? Moving through time the way we move through space?
