“We will own your likeness FOREVER”= slavery with extra steps

If corporations are going to use peoples image and likeness at least compensate them for it otherwise call it what it is: theft, and the very worse sort of theft because all your life experiences that made you who you are, that contributed to the development of your persona, your world view, your philosophy, not to mention all the experiences of your ancestors that also contributed to who you are now (due to epigenetics,) to have that stripped and mined and whittled down to nothing more than fodder for some corporation to feed into the “machine learning” program so they can make more f-I-a-t money…if that isn’t an insult to humanity I don’t know what is.

The only consent I give to one that allows me to control the outcome and what will be done with my own face, voice and knowledge. The idea of a digital clone in itself is not bad. I want to be able to pass down all of what I know into an avatar that will walk with my great grandchildren. But give me that right. Do not steal that right from me. I reserve my right to not have my entirety stripped down and turned into a soulless product. For example, look what has happened with Frida Kahlo and her image. Do you think she would approve of the way her face has been commercialised? Think about this.
