If I one day ghost off IG, you’ll know why. I’ve already deleted all but one video of my TT Channel (I left the [Reclaim Your Time/Is This Freedom] video up to further drive home my point.) I don’t like that my short form videos are contributing to the dumbing down of our society, however small a part I may be playing. And it’s quite frustrating trying to cram incredibly dense topics into two minutes or less so people who chose to follow my page can actually be shown the content they subscribed to. That’s a weird vibe.

I do think it is worth noting that the creators on a lot of these apps are neither active on what they’ve created nor do they allow THEIR CHILDREN to be on it either. That should set off alarm bells for us all. Especially when the creators of these products (and the techs we consume them on) told us they were DESIGNED to be addictive.

I’m not saying completely give off your phone but you should maybe limit your time on it and turn it off say after 8pm or 9pm at night. Try to retrain your mind to sit and read a book again. I suggest starting with children’s books. I know-that’s how bad our focus has gotten and that wasn’t a joke. To retrain my mind to focus again I started re-reading my old Harry Potter novels and it helped.
