Making Quick Lime First Try

Well.... the cake was amazing! :-) Mmmmm, coconut banana something...
The quicklime... not so great. ....although I may not have given it enough time to really harden...? I dunno. I'm suspecting that it didn't work, though, because the shells didn't react with the water very noticeably. They should be all bubblin' and boilin' in there.
