23LHDVD05-04 Deborah Vails - Guarding Your Mind Against Contamination

There’s a lot of things that can contaminate our minds. Isaiah 26:3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.” We do not have to allow the enemy into our minds. We have to take captive the thoughts that come at us and determine where they are coming from. Ps 101:3 “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes:” What we take in, goes in, and will manifest in some kind of way. Negative memory replay is when the enemy brings up past failures. If you’ve repented and asked God to forgive you, then turn the battle at the gate and don’t dwell on it. Mind altering drugs do just that - they alter your mind that you can’t think right. False teachings, false religions, blood line curses, and inherited mental illness contaminate. Just because they are in the blood line doesn’t mean they have to keep going. You have the right to say “No!” in the mighty name of Jesus. Pornography is a portal for contamination. Numerous other avenues for contamination are given. Instruction is given on how to guard your mind. Prayer and ministry is laced throughout this message. Praying in the Holy Ghost is a mighty weapon for guarding your mind! Very practical teaching which will help the listener walk in victory.
