The Congolese National Army Demonstrate Their Skills For General Jacques Doumro Of Chad - March 1969

The engineers showed the general their UNIMOG trucks which can cross rough ground with ease, and a mobile water purifier which can produce 10,000 cubic metres of drinking water per hour. Highlight of the demonstration was the display of bridge-building.
First the engineer corps assembled a pontoon bridge and installed it at a crossing, on the Inkisi River. Then an emergency metal bridge was quickly constructed under battle conditions.
