As Amazon cements itself as the epicenter of modern Lord of the Rings content, I find myself concerned over where that may lead. After clearly demonstrating their desire to modify existing lore, I find myself becoming increasingly nervous that the rebooted MMO will now become more so a tool to rewrite history as opposed to a faithful showcase of the world that many of us love.

I may just be someone unwilling to let go... but Lord of the Rings (to me) is a glaringly obvious entertainment tragedy where what we are getting right now... is woefully inadequate compared to what it could possibly be.
