Our babymoon adventure up the east coast of Australia

This is a recount of our trip up the coast including a little bit of footage from the places we have visited. We fed dolphins this morning. They were rare, wild humpback dolphins which aren't found anywhere else in the world.

We stopped at Maryborough and it turns out the whole town in Mary Poppins themed. I would never have noticed if it wasn't for my partner.

Yesterday, we went four wheel driving up at Double Island Point and Rainbow Beach. We got great drone footage and had heaps of fun in the sand dunes and in the surf.

I was able to test out my new GoPro 50/50 dome housing in the surf as well. We're snorkelling around Lady Musgrave Island shortly so it was good to practice filming with the new gear. Ky Lives 3 (YouTube) and @kylives Instagram are the best places to see the adventure content.

I'm getting confident with my drone pilot skills. I was a little bit apprehensive to fly over the Glass House Mountains when we stayed in Maleny but it had been a while since I flew the drone. It probably doesn't help that my last flight ended in a spectacular crash. The sunset over the Glass House Mountains was amazing!

Before the road trip we celebrated my 32nd birthday at my dad's farm and rode motorbikes around all day. One of my birthday presents was a skydiving voucher so that's just one more opportunity to create more cool adventure content.

I'm editing a lot not on my phone now and I even entered the Outback Explorer Competition showcasing Australia using only my phone to edit a clip out of all my Aussie adventures!
