SMART CITIES AND THE GREATER CITIES COMMISSION

A recent talk I did on SMART Cities. This talk has a focus on the Greater Cities Commission forming the 6 Mega City- Global City region. This is relevant for above Newcastle area, down through Central Coast, Sydney, Wollongong and out to Blue Mountains.
My questions:
- Why is the public so unaware of the breadth of the SMART city plans?
- What implications are there when government and big business partner? Who holds the power?
- Who holds the global corporates and structures accountable?
- How do community members have a say in a purported democracy?
- And what level of control will this usher in? Who will be in charge and what does it mean for humanity?
