The Di Zhao Mini is a great flute for a younger student. It has features to help a young learner know proper hand placements and with its curved head joint, it makes holding the flute comfortable. Just keep in mind there will be some adjusting when your flutist gets bigger and will need to upgrade to a regular standard student flute.
