In this video, I share my reaction to an article about the first transgender athlete to compete in a women’s alpine ski race. As a professional alpine ski racer myself, I thought it would be interesting to go into detail about what happened, and share my thoughts with you.

My takeaways from this article are: #1 The issue of trans athletes competing against women is happening in every sport. And #2 We need to stop pointing fingers, but rather ask ourselves what are we doing, as athletes, as parent of athletes, as sports enthusiast and concerned citizen, to protect women’s and girls sports?
