It's Time To Get Involved In Local Government

We have an opportunity for concerned New Zealanders, who want to do good for their communities, to get involved in local government.
The 2022 Local Body Elections are the 8th of October but the deadline for candidate nominations is the 12th of August
There are well over a thousand positions up for grabs across the country; regional councillors, city councillors, district councillors, community board members (also a paid position) etc
The hours required for these positions ranges greatly depending on the role and the population size of the area.
We want to encourage and support as many people as possible to get into these positions to start affecting positive change from within the system
