Every piece of meaning serves its role in this sick society as a means to make money from you:
1. Entertain(t)ment? - sure, but it's meant to keep you distracted from getting better. Poor people do the easy things, hence why their life is hard :3
2. Ignorance? Sure, it's only expensive pain. And expansive, since it easily spreads.
3. Suffering? Especially! If you're healthy, this sick society hates you. After all, it only wants you dead or suffering. But the suffering are profitable, the dead not that much.
4. Distractions? Of course! All successful people know that they are mortal, hence their not having time for simple things. Distractions are the death of any progress. And the path towards the prison of the mind this sick society has been building for you. Now they're just making it more comfy for your ego to preside in it. When the ego presides, well, you're on the back seat in you own body. What's the problem with this? You only have 1 life. And time is ticking :)
