Fishing dodgers for trout and Kokanee is one of the best ways to target and catch these fish. Kokanee or Trout dodgers travel through the water at a certain motion moving side-to-side creating flash and vibration to attract trout or Kokanee from a distance. Once the Kokanee comes in, if your setup has the proper leader length the dodger will whip the lure back and forth. The combo of the flash and wobbler brings the fish in, then the Kokanee or trout sees your setup and eats your lure!
