11/16/21 HCSB MEETING - Kara Floyd Book Challenge (Part-Time Indian)

Moms For Liberty - Hernando County (FL), Chapter Chair Kara Floyd, requests that the HCSD withdraw from the NSBA and FSBA over attempts to brand parents as domestic terrorists and reads from an inappropriate book which was found at Spring Hill Elementary (The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian).

This book was challenged for removal in November 2021 and to date has not been officially removed by the District (as of June 7, 2023).
