Super easy install. Makes my sit in kayak way easy for my fish finder to drop the transducer and put the finder exactly where i want
Love this product, people always stop and look!!
Overall this is a nice mount considering it’s 100% plastic. That said, it’s 100% plastic. The portion that holds your GPS / sonar display is a RAM clone, but again, plastic.
It also lacks the spring RAM uses to hold one side of the mount onto the ball when removed. Not a big deal. I know most people don’t put big displays and big transducers on their kayak so I will give it a pass on some of this ”lightweight-ness”.
It’ll hold a 5” display fine and maybe even a lightweight 7” display. Anything more would be pushing it. I give it high marks for adjustability and ease of install.
I would question durability but only if the thing is getting banged around in transport / storage, and/or you’re asking too much from it with a big 9” or 12” display attached.
It took my longer to get the tools out than it did to install it.
Love it! It's just what I needed
Very easily installed. Fit my Garmin unit perfectly. However, I had to custom fit the transducer with some additional hardware as this item didn't have the right hardware with it.
Received what I ordered it was in perfect condition, and it was exactly what I wanted. High quality!!! Thank you.
