Roberta METSOLA meets with Christine LAGARDE

Ahead of the Monetary dialogue at the European Parliament in Brussels, Roberta METSOLA, EP President, meets with Christine LAGARDE, President of the European Central Bank (ECB) for an exchange of views. The footage shows images of the arrival, welcome and signature between the two presidents. Roberta METSOLA ( EP President), Christine LAGARDE (ECB President) , in the presence of ECON Chair Irene TIGNALI, signed and exchanged letters endorsing the agreed working arrangements found between the ECON Committee and the European Central Bank.The agreement - adopted in plenary last week - aims to increase transparency and accountability of the European Central Bank vis-a-vis the Parliament.
