I am in love with the Garmin fenix 5 Plus! Its a premium multisport GPS smartwatch that estimates heart rate at the wrist, making it easy to keep track of my health.
The color TOPO maps featuring trend line popularity routing help me find and follow the best paths, and its rugged design makes it perfect for adventure.
I went for the DLC Titanium bezel, buttons, and rear case, but I did notice that it is quite prone to scratches. Ive only had it for a month and it already has a few marks on it.
However, the pictures dont do justice to how stunning this watch really is. Another feature that Im in love with is the ability to store and play up to 500 songs on my watch, and connect with Bluetooth headphones (sold separately) for phone-free listening.
And with Garmin Pay, I can easily make payments without having to carry around my wallet. The built-in navigation sensors are incredibly helpful for my outdoor activities.
It has a 3-axis compass, gyroscope, and barometric altimeter, as well as multiple satellite system (GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo) network capability to track in more challenging environments than GPS alone.
Whats more, the battery life on this watch is amazing! The smartwatch lasts up to 12 days, the GPS mode lasts up to 18 hours, GPS and Music lasts up to 8 hours, and UltraTrac mode lasts up to 42 hours.
This means that I dont have to worry about running out of battery during a long hike or outdoor adventure. However, I did notice a few cons. Firstly, the watch is quite large, even on my big wrists.
Secondly, the iPhone app is missing some key information on the landing page, like battery percentage. Lastly, I had to plug the watch into a PC to update software before customizing it.
But all of these cons are minor compared to the amazing features and benefits of the Garmin fenix 5 Plus. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves outdoor activities and wants to keep track of their health!
