PRIDE COMES BEFORE THE FALL
There's a book out there, been around for a little over 2k years, that tells of a future where the world will lose itself and repeat a time of accepting degradation. Apparently fire and brimstone fell upon such a people living in that degradation where only one family made it out alive. Sadly, this book tells of a time when "men's hearts will fail them for fear for looking upon those things which are coming on the earth."
