The Lego version of the M16A1 (Assault Rifle) which is the rifle adopted into the US Military in 1967. In 1969, the M16A1 replaced the M14 rifle to become the U.S. military's standard service rifle. And the M16A1 improvements include a bolt-assist, chrome plated bore and a futuristic look that no one expected. Easily my favorite rifle to have ever made out of LEGO!
