In the modern world, we are told that symbols are relatively unimportant and that enlightened people learn to leave silly notions of the sacred behind. But as Joe Biden and the United States military start replacing the American flag with the Pride flag, it becomes difficult to ignore the powerful symbolism that is being used to transform our nation.
