The five physical senses are sight, hearing, smell, taste, and feel.
The sense organs collect stimuli for transduction into a form that can be understood by the brain. The five sense faculties are the eye faculty, ear, nose, tongue, and body faculties.
The five sense faculties are the particular ruling factors for their respective cognitions. The five physical senses, or the carnal mind, cognize nothing but the material and cannot hear, feel, taste, smell, nor see Spirit. Physical and chemical changes can be observed using the five senses, including shape, density, solubility, odor, melting point, boiling point, and color. - define five physical senses
