The family's lawyer Siddhartha H. Rathod says the Police chief in Aurora, Colorado is issuing misleading and false statements about the shooting death that occurred June 1, 2023.
Initial reports by the police department said officers were responding to an armed robbery and an armed suspect was shot and killed while police were trying to apprehend him.
