Thinking and Doing Good | Reflection on Proper Six #anglican #prayer #bcp

Father Jeremiah reflects upon the collect for Proper 6, used on the Sunday from June 12-18. In this prayer we ask for the Holy Spirit to inspire us to think and do that which is good according to God's Word.

The text of the Collect is:
O Lord, from whom all good proceeds: Grant us the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may always think those things that are good, and by your merciful guidance may accomplish the same; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
