In this new episode of our "How we are doing" blog Viktor Rozovy cooperated with the grenade launchers crew of the 3rd SABr during the snowy spring, which became possible to talk about only now, after the unit had changed its positions.

The fighters explain how to shoot at tanks and infantry with this type of weapon and share the main characteristics of SPG and its rounds.

“This is a fragmentation projectile for our SPG-9. If you attach a gunpowder charge to it, it will look like a spear. This is why its old soviet name is the "spear-gun". It weighs approximately 4.4 kilograms. It travels up to 4 and a half kilometers. The fragments scatter 30 meters around at an angle of 30 degrees. It is a high-precision weapon. If it hits a BMP, BTR or any other vehicle, it will destroy the shit out of it,” – the fighter states.
