These are two of the most disappointing teams in the sport. The Mets were expected to be a World Series contender, yet they are currently under .500 with multiple players underperforming. This, however, pales in comparison to the Cardinals' situation. They were favored to win the NL Central, yet are currently one of the worst teams in baseball, beating out the Kansas City Royals and the Oakland (soon to be Las Vegas) Athletics. Can the Mets turn this around? Are the Cardinals even worth salvaging?
