My Friend is Dying of ALS

John is the most talented, intelligent, skilled, sensible person I have met. He is the backbone of our operation and he is succumbing to Lou Gehrig's disease, ALS.

It is difficult for me to physically handle the day-to-day needs of John when it comes to transferring him from bed to chair, wheel chair, car

Above all, John is my friend and I am sad he is leaving us. This is a typical morning picking him up and taking him to work.
