Smithfield RI School Committee Holds A Workshop On Current Trans Policies With Discussion Of Parent-Student Rights

The Smithfield, RI school committee met for a workshop on 6-17-23 to discuss their current transgender policies.

In a rather unique offering, the public was invited to view the open and vulnerable discussions by the panel members as they waded through current policies and seek understanding if future updates were needed.

Public comment periods followed after a brief five minutes intermission.
