The FULL TRUE Story of the Man-Eating Lions of Tsavo "The Ghost and the Darkness" 🦁💀🦁

The Tsavo Man-Eaters were a pair of man-eating male lions in the Tsavo region of Kenya, which were responsible for the deaths of many construction workers on the Kenya-Uganda Railway between March and December 1898. The lion pair was said to have killed between 135 people, up to 325 people.

While the myth claims they were devils or evil spirits, and Hollywood embellished their cunning in the film "The Ghost and the Darkness", the truth is far less glamorous and more rational: a pair of lions found that attacking malnourished humans all clustered together in camps was much easier than chasing athletic animals that could fight back with hoofs, teeth and horns. Humans were just an easy meal.
