Did you know that the worst Chinese naval disaster was a suicidal act by a PLA officer? 
Let me explain in detail: On April 16, 2003, submarine No. 361 sank in the Yellow Sea during a routine training exercise, killing 70 officers and soldiers onboard. PLA announced that human errors and mechanical failure caused the tragedy.
But that's not true. Quoting sources from within the navy, the book "The Real Stories of Jiang Zemin" revealed that the accident was a suicidal act.
