A story which compels others emotionally to become a part of the vision has much more lasting and expansive effect. A vision statement should be a story of a future not yet seen which paints a picture, inspires action, evokes emotion and causes others to want to repeat that story. It should draw others into your excitement and at the same time be so clear that others will recognize its arrival from a distance.” J Loren Norris
