When I looked at this definition of the word artificial, the entire Genesis narrative concerning the rebellion of mankind crystalized in my mind. The words of Jehovah when confounding or confusing the language at Babel made sense. The word contrived in the first definition means to “devise or plan”. This artificial or man-made intelligence is not different than what Nimrod attempted at Babel. Today we are contriving what they were imagining to do in Shinar.
