Joe Rogan in turn challenged Hotez to a debate with RFK Jr. — even offering up $100,000 to his favorite charity, but Hotez turned it down. His actions sparked a massive debate on social media among various groups that believe science needs to be debated. On Friday, President Biden spoke to a group of gun-control advocates, claiming that a pistol brace has the capacity to turn itself into a gun and shoot off high caliber bullets. Secretary of State Antony Blinken traveled to China this weekend to come to a consensus on the troubling relationship. Instead, he told the country that the U.S. stands with China and does not see Taiwan as an independent country. Disney/Pixar released a new film over the weekend, and as expected, the movie flopped at the box office. “Elemental” had the second-worst opening in the studio’s history.
