How to make Cast Skull Knife handles with totalboat thickset resin

In this short how to video Dan Berg from www.Bergknifemaking.com demonstrates how totalboat thick set epoxy can be used to create unique one of a kind cast skull knife scales or handles. We made a silicone mold and cast skulls with resin. We used thickset resin. Mix slowly to prevent micro bubbles from forming. Let the epoxy set for 24 to 48 hours before removing from mold and 5 to 7 days before polishing.
