Abraham's legacy, an offer we can't refuse

The Rock from which you were hewn. What's the Rock from which Jewish people were hewn? It's Abraham. Abraham the patriarch, and Sarah. Abraham the father of the faithful, the patriarch of Israel. Abraham who led the people into the worship of one God, not many gods; who responded to God and was justified by faith when he believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Abraham who even saw Jesus' Day.
Jesus says in John: "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and
was glad."
