Why did a Spotify executive call Harry and Meghan “grifters”?
Bill Simmons is a podcaster, sportswriter, and founded of a sports website called the Ringer. He also is a Spotify executive.
Bill Simmons said on his self-titled podcast Friday that “I wish I had been involved in the ‘Meghan and Harry leave Spotify’ negotiation.”
He also said in January 2023 that
“What does he do? It’s one of those things where it’s like, what’s your talent? Why are we listening to you? So you were born in a royal family and then you left … You live in f**king Montecito and you just like, you sell documentaries and podcasts and nobody cares what you have to say about anything unless you talk about the royal family and you just complain about them.”
Despite recent gains, the Meghan and Harry are both quite unpopular. Meghan Markle is disliked by 34% of people and liked by only 39%. Her husband, Harry, is even less popular if that is possible.
