As an avid hunter and shooter, I have used a variety of scopes over the years, but the Burris Fullfield II Hunting Scope with Ballistic Plex Reticle is definitely one of my favorites.
The clarity of the glass is exceptional, making it easy to see even the smallest details at long distances. Additionally, the movement is smooth and precise, so adjusting the scope is a breeze.
One thing to keep in mind is that the tubes are a bit softer than some other scopes, which means its important not to over tighten the rings. However, if you use a torque wrench like I do, you shouldnt have any issues.
Despite being a more affordable option, this scope holds zero exceptionally well, even after riding in the gun racks on my ATV. In fact, I have this scope on several different rifles with different calibers, and it performs equally well on each one.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the Burris Fullfield II Hunting Scope. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of a higher-end scope, it is a quality option that does exactly what its designed to do.
The reticle is crisp and clear, and I appreciate that it doesnt clutter the sight picture like some more complex reticles can.
It may not be the best option for those who need an ultra-fine varmint or target weight, but for most hunting and shooting purposes, it strikes a great balance.
I havent had the opportunity to test out the holdover points extensively yet, but I imagine they would be helpful on a rifle thats suited for long-range shooting.
All in all, I would highly recommend the Burris Fullfield II Hunting Scope with Ballistic Plex Reticle to anyone in the market for an affordable yet high-quality optic.
