Episode 152: Seneca Carrillo, MD

Seneca Carrillo is an emergency medicine physician at Premier Emergency Medical Specialists in Phoenix, AZ. She earned her BS in Microbiology and Immunology and her M.D. from the University of Arizona and University of Arizona College of Medicine. She has been an emergency medicine physician for 23 years and is the founder of her own private health/nutrition/lifestyle consulting company, Toolkit MD.

Seneca talks with Brian about what drew her to medicine in general and emergency medicine in particular, and about the problems related to physician burnout. They discuss how Seneca was introduced to fasting, the keto diet, low carb diets and how nutrition and lifestyle impact health, sleep, stress and longevity.
