There is no doubt that lack of buy in form leadership in an agile transformation is a big deterrent to a successful transformation. However, scrum masters and agile coaches need to understand that success without managerial buy in is still very much achievable. As long as we understand that it is not leadership’s responsibility to buy in automatically, but our responsibility to get them to buy in.
