Easy Watercolour Urban Sketching - Tower Bridge, London

Today we are sketching Tower Bridge, London. A rather unique and recognisable landmark, and for that reason perhaps both tempting and intimidating to sketch.

We can be really abstract and loose in laying down our colours, and still have a fun and recognisable image at the end. You really don't have to stress about accuracy at every stage of your sketching, just focus on the processes that make you happy!

In this video I want to show you that its actually great fun to put your own stamp on well known landmarks. We can still simplify, be creative, and be playful, whilst also producing something recognisable for the place we're sketching.

I'm also using this as a start to my mini 'landmarks' series - I'm going to attempt, over a few videos, to sketch famous landmarks from google streetview. Using experimental approaches to 'travel the world', from my studio!
