Mercy is among the latest signees of the prominent New York-based indie Babygrande Records.Although he was raised in Mississippi, Mercy moved toAtlanta following turbulence at home during his teenage years and after being offered a photo shoot at the boutique streetwear store Wish ATL.Soon thereafter, Mercy started making music and caught the attention of legendary promoter J Wise, who ran the renowned Playlist Party at the Department Store venue in Atlanta. The Department Store served as a hotbed for emerging talentin the city. According to HighSnobiety, the venue was "Atlanta’s most pivotal stomping grounds for young burgeoning talent," and it was also ranked as a top ten spot in the city by The Source. “21 Savage, Kodie Shane, Sonny Digital, LilUzi Vert, Young Nudy J.I.D, Playboi Carti and many other artist that are prominent today were regular performers. It was special time,” says J Wise

Mercy released his first single and video with Babygrande in March ("See What ISee") and continued his streak of outstanding live performances at the SXSWTakeover where he shared the stage with Lil Mosey, Young Nudy, Carnage,Calboy147, Lil Gotit, Drako and more. His new single, "Only On Go," is currentlyavailable worldwide via Babygrande Records.
