My 3 Favorite Announcements From the June 2023 Nintendo Direct

The June 2023 Nintendo Direct just finished, or at least I just finished watching it. It got me thinking, what were my 3 favorite announcements from the June 2023 Nintendo Direct?? Well, these are my three favorites

Number Three
For me had to have been some really cool remakes and remasters that we have to come to the Nintendo Switch from previous generation hardware. Most notable for me is the fact that they are redoing Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon from the 3DS! That's right, they are bringing it to the Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED, giving it a fresh coat of paint and more people will soon get to play this wonderful title.

Number Two:
This has nothing to do with the Super Mario Bros Movie or the Peaches, Peaches, Peachs song, I promise. Since I have two girls and they both love Princess Peach, the fact that we got word that there is a Princess Peach main game where she is the lead character in the game in development well I think that is just super super cool. And honestly, I'd rather have more Princess Peach and less Queen Elsa in my house.

Number One
For me my number one has to be the announcement of a new 2D Super Mario Bros game, Super Mario Bros: Wonder! This looks like so much fun, and it looks like such a natural progression from New Super Mario Bros. It appears like we're going to get new power-ups and new abilities. I mean Mario gets to become an elephant! For someone with a daughter who loves Mario and elephants, that's a home run! Super Mario Bros Wonder just looks like it would be a whole lot of fun and I cannot wait to play it in October 2023.
