Airline Experimenting With ELECTROSHOCK Seats! #dangerous #gadgets
In 2016, Embraer, a Brazilian aerospace manufacturer, applied for a patent that has now been granted for a "brain stimulation system" designed to provide passengers with a sense of well-being during long car, train, and airplane rides. The system involves a digital camera that captures the facial expressions of a passenger, an analysis tool to identify the emotions of the passenger, and an interface that provides non-invasive transcranial stimulation, such as electrical or magnetic signals, to distressed passengers.
While transcranial stimulation is already an accepted treatment for depression and is available for home use, its use on a commercial airline based on facial analysis could potentially compromise personal data security and privacy.
