"Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine" is an innovative puzzle game that perfectly blends classic puzzle-solving with the intense platforming mechanics iconic to Super Meat Boy. Players are challenged to solve more than 100 unique puzzles that are set in beautifully designed, hand-crafted worlds teeming with imaginative hazards and traps. The game intensifies with challenging boss fights that occur at the end of each world.

In this title, players revisit familiar locations from Super Meat Boy and Super Meat Boy Forever, such as the forest, the hospital, and the salt factory. However, the gameplay is presented in a fresh Puyo Puyo-inspired format. Here, simply matching four clones of the same type and creating combos is not enough; players must also dodge lethal hazards and traps like sawblades, rockets, and pendulums, providing an extreme and exciting twist to the traditional puzzle formula.

The narrative of "Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine" unfolds after the events of Super Meat Boy Forever. The villainous Dr. Fetus, having collected data and DNA samples of Meat Boy, attempts to create the perfect Meat Boy clone. However, due to an imperfect DNA specimen, the clones produced are less than perfect. To rectify this, Dr. Fetus designs ruthless test chambers to distinguish the quality clones from the defective ones. The clones gradually start resembling Meat Boy, and as they get closer to perfection, it is uncertain what Dr. Fetus's next move will be.

The game is visually stunning, with captivating backgrounds and animations designed by the original Super Meat Boy artists. The soundtrack, composed by RIDICULON, features unique remixed tracks from Super Meat Boy Forever as well as new scores. Furthermore, the game is developed in collaboration with Team Meat.
