Garden #2 June 2023

Closeup of garden, pumpkin patch, asparagus bed. Third week of June. One of the secrets is a one foot thick bed of aged organic cow manure from our neighbor farmer. This year: Asparagus, peppers, 'maters, dill, lettuce, pickles, zukes, beets, carrots, sunflower, pumpkins 3 type, squash, broccoli, radish, eggplant, tarragon, spearmint, basil. Used to grow corn but it's available cheaper than we can grow it at local farmer. Gardening keeps you limber - wife and I are in our 70's been growing things together for 40 years.
