In 2009 there was the swine flu fake pandemic. People were frightened for a disease that was significantly less deadly than the seasonal flu.

Enormous amounts of taxpayer money was wasted buying experimental vaccines that nobody needed and only 14% of the population took.

Governments were obliged to buy large numbers of vaccines because of prior signed sleeper contracts which became active once WHO declared phase 6 of a pandemic and constituted automatic buy orders for a certain number of vaccine doses. Also, the media was effectively used to incite of fear by those with conflicts of interest, leaving the government almost no alternative to buying vaccines, because not doing so was presented as stupid and reckless.

There was no pandemic according to the old and correct definition, which required not just fast global spread of a disease, but also severe disease and deaths far above normal. The latter was removed, and so now even the mildest cold could be declared a pandemic, which automatically started all kinds of protocols.

The WHO saw that the swine flu pandemic did not cause severe disease and intended to lower the severity, but then the CEO's of pharmaceutical companies had a private meeting with WHO's chief Margaret Chan. Afterwards, instead of decreasing the pandemic severity, WHO increase it to phase 6, thereby forcing governments to buy large amounts of highly profitable vaccines from the pharmaceutical industry.

The large amounts of taxpayer money used to buy unnecessary risky vaccine doses could have been used much more effectively for preventable disease and death, such as by tuberculosis. Of course, 10 000 dead children 'far away' means much less to most people than their own (or their own child's) sickness or death.

WHO expert committees were filled with people with enormous (undeclared) conflicts of interest. When they undeclared conflicts of interest were later found out, no guilty person was punished in any way.

An inquiry was started into what happened and to learn lessons on how to better serve public health, but it hardly received any media and public attention.

The failed swine flu fakedemic of 2009 taught the elite many important lessons which they fixed in the 2020 corona fakedemic:

1. They needed to incite way more fear in the population. They found repeat mass testing with hyper oversensitive PCR tests to be a great tool. Fear makes people pay attention, conform, stop independent thought, and obediently follow the 'authorities' (even fake/undeserving authorities). This is exactly what the elite want.
2. They needed much more effective propaganda. They needed to buy all mainstream media's cooperation and to clamp down on inconvenient viewpoints, which they called 'misinformation'. They needed all doctors to strictly follow the protocols designed by the elite and to conform to the narrative. Dissenting doctors were viciously canceled.
3. They needed to make the population much more miserable (e.g. with lockdowns and face masks) so that citizens would clamor for the experimental injections, which were consistently presented as the only way out.
4. They needed to make the decision to vaccinate not just a personal one, but a societal one, i.e. to also protect others and the disease care system. People who refused the injection would be viewed as parasites (granny killers who forced society into another lockdown) and subsequently excluded.
