At the start of the main quest, Fanning Embers, Torgal joins your party and you receive the Ring of Timely Assistance. Simply equip the ring and let Torgal attack enemies on his own. The trophy should unlock after a few encounters with the ring equipped. Alternatively, you can manually send commands to Torgal by pressing D-Pad Left to access pet commands and pressing D-Pad Up to issue the sic command.
