Who is Semi Bird and why is he running?

Semi Bird is a career American who has spent a lifetime in service to his country and community. Semi started his life’s journey in the ghetto of East Oakland, California. He was born to a single mother of seven children, prior to the passing of the Civil Rights Act.

Semi’s mother ensured that Semi was raised in a Christian environment and held accountable for his actions. Victim behavior was not tolerated in the household because Mrs. Bird wanted her children to become strong and resilient members of society.

Semi struggled in school, K-12 and dropped out of high school after completing his junior year to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. He would later enlist in the United States Army in 2001.
