Catching a Reticulated Python in the Act

After several months of chickens going missing and a few blood-curdling squawks in the dead of the night, we finally took action. I needed my wife for moral support and to talk me through it because she had seen her uncle catch a python. I have never caught a snake before. Also, it turned out that cutting the branch the python was wrapped around with a machete was the only way to get it in the box. I wish I could have recorded the whole ordeal, but our son is not quite able to be a cameraman yet, so we were pretty occupied.
